A letter from a scholarship recipient

Margaret received the following email from Ann Cooper, Penn Veterinary student from Lancaster, and the recipient of LKC scholarships for two years.

Hi Mrs. Crothers,

What a wonderful surprise it was to hear from you! I apologize for my late reply, I have been in the process of relocating to New Jersey for the phase of my veterinary training. I will begin a one year small animal rotating internship at Redbank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls at the end of the month. Afterward, I still plan to pursue a residency in veterinary ophthalmology.

Graduation was an exciting day but it will be sad to leave Philadelphia, Penn and all of my friends behind. I have such fond memories of my dinner with you and the other members of the Kennel Club and I am so grateful for their financial assistance which has helped to ease my student loan burden. ..... Thank you so much for your kindness and support over the past few years. I hope to have the opportunity to work with the kennel club in some capacity in the future.
